Teens4Sharks's "Ban Fin Soup Campaign"
Too many restaurants in the US and Canada still offer shark fin soup on their menu, secretly or not.
We know who they are, thanks to our friends at the Animal Welfare Institute and our investigation
CALL TO ACTION: Teens4Sharks members to post a one star rating to at least 5 restaurants per week
Along with the following review on Google and Yelp:
"As reported by the Animal Welfare Institute at https://awionline.org/content/restaurants-currently-offering-shark-fin-soup , your restaurant seems to sell or promote the commercialization of shark fins. On top of being extremely cruel, SHARK MEAT IS TOXIC due to high levels of mercury -- and shark finning is illegal in US waters and possessing or selling shark fin is illegal in many states already.
We will continue to spread and post this message until you have taken the necessary steps to prove you do not commercialize any shark products."
Together we can leverage the power of social media and hit where it hurts, their pockets.
We will only stop when there are no more restaurants on the list.
